Alyssas Wood, the actress who starred in the hit AMC series “Breaking Bad,” was hospitalized on Friday and in serious condition, her publicist told PEOPLE.
Wood, 33, is in stable condition after having an enlarged spleen, said her publicists, Lisa DePasquale and Michelle Geddes.
Her condition was upgraded to critical, and she has been moved to a hospital in New York City.
Wood was seen with her eyes closed and was breathing through her nose on Thursday, her reps told PEOPLE, and was wearing a mask.
Wood has starred in a variety of TV and film roles since joining the AMC series in 2010.
She has appeared in two episodes of “Better Call Saul” and in “Breaking Good,” the former’s spinoff from the series, and the latter’s second season.
